Groups consist of 8 to 10 women who meet weekly to develop and build skills for coping with depression and anxiety. Participants may be challenged by loss, illness, mood disturbance, relationship concerns or other social difficulties. The group focus is on clients’ strengths with a cognitive behavioral orientation. Potential members meet with the facilitator to discuss their goals and group dynamics before starting in group. Each group series meets for 8 to 11 weeks.
