Therapist Overview
As a psychotherapist, my philosophy centers on the healing power of the therapeutic relationship as a vehicle for growth. With qualities of empathy and non-judgment as the bedrock of my practice, I use psychodynamic and mindfulness-based approaches to address difficulties related to mood disorders, interpersonal conflicts, self-esteem, trauma, personality concerns, and first- and second-generation cultural difficulties. I believe that focusing in on what lies at the depths of our self, while challenging, leads to newfound discoveries that yield many rewards. It is my hope to start a process that not only removes symptoms, but helps gain a sense of vitality.
