Individual and group psychotherapy with adults. Areas of specialization include depression and anxiety with a special interest in trauma and trauma related issues, substance abuse, eating disorders, and relational issues; particularly where there is narcissistic wounding and co-dependency. Specialized training in clinical hypnotherapy, clinical therapy, interactive guided mediation, and Yoga. (Registered Yoga Teacher). Holistic, (mind/body/spirit), client centered psychotherapy with an existential/humanistic approach.
Kate helped to develop and co-facilitated the Discovering the Healthy Self Workshop for six years, with Eleanor Payson, LMSW, ACSW, author of The Wizard of Oz and Other Narcissists, along with co-facilitating an ongoing support group for codependents struggling in a narcissistic relationship. She is passionate about treating the special population of men and women who suffer from depression and the difficult and complicated issues of narcissistic wounding, focusing on uncovering the problems and dilemmas that occur when dealing with the narcissistic personality disordered individual.
