Change usually begins for clients before they walk into the office for the first time. By the time a client sits down in the chair, their process of transition has already been underway for weeks, months, or even years. There likely has been a conversation that the client has had either with themselves or another person about what they would like to change in their lives. They have already begun to listen to their own voice in a different way. There are so many other voices in our lives that we try to hear; our children, our partners, our parents, to name a few. In the treatment, it is possible to hear ones’ self differently. Many of my clients say that the therapy allows them to develop this listening but in a deeper
and more meaningful way.

In my practice, I specialize in the treatment of some of the following difficulties:

  • Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Depression and Anxiety
  • Trauma
  • Grief/Loss
  • Attention Deficit Disorder
  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder
  • Parent/Child relational difficulties
  • Chemical Dependency

I have training in the following therapeutic modalities:

  • CDI / CARE (an abbreviated version of PCIT; Parent/Child Interactional Therapy)
