Goals and Objectives:
Deliver psychoeducation using developmentally appropriate approaches.
Understand core concepts to outline for families.
Explain obsessive compulsive disorder using engaging activities.
Create a meaningful fear hierarchy with a child.
Identify symptoms and utilize assessment in building hierarchy.
Collaboratively develop a fear hierarchy/ladder
Develop and implement exposure therapy treatment with children and teenagers.
Create exposures specific to patient symptoms using fear hierarchy.
Monitor for progress and potential barriers to treatment.
Implement approaches to address treatment barriers.
Understand and apply basic SPACE(Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) principals with parents while working with their children.
Teach and demonstrate supportive statements to parents.
Help to identify accommodations through accommodation mapping.
Help create a plan to reduce accommodations.
