Men make up 80% of U.S. suicides. Experts say stigma is keeping them from getting help

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and experts say many men are still struggling in silence. 

Men account for nearly 80% of suicides in the U.S., and a moment of distress can quickly turn into a tragic, permanent decision. Still, far fewer men seek mental health treatment compared to women, and only 13.4% of men receive mental health treatment.
