Healthy Grieving

There are no “rules” for grieving; it is specific to the person in mourning and involves feelings, behaviors, activities and communication that allow the mourner to express their loss in a way that elicits support and understanding from others and/or from the immediate environment. This can be a single experience or a series of experiences that can last from months to years, and ultimately brings greater acceptance and peace to the mourner.
