Saja Almusawi, MA, TLLP
My first goal is to build a connection with you so that I can understand how best to help you. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that will be revisited and assessed as treatment continues. I work with adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety and panic disorders, grief and loss, trauma, stress, coping, adjustment related issues, relationship issues, family conflicts, and identity issues.
Difficulties you experience can sometimes be temporary. Other times, issues will be longstanding and interfere with many aspects of your life. Together, we will work on strategies that allow you to address the core issues of your struggles and develop healthy coping skills to navigate your surroundings.
Through therapy, we will explore your past to better understand your present and the future. Through a psychodynamic approach, I will help you gain insight into your root difficulties and uncover your defenses. This will ensure that treatment results will be longstanding. As a psychotherapist, I am committed to providing a warm, inviting, inclusive, comfortable, and safe space for my clients to be their authentic selves.
