Men Can Suffer From Postpartum Depression Too


BMC therapist Lori Edelson talked with Dr. Deanna Lites of WWJ News Radio 950 about postpartum depression in fathers. She explained that men typically will see onset at about 3 to 6 months after the birth of the baby, and that it’s more common in first time fathers.  Symptoms can include anxiety, loss of interest in work and hobbies, and feeling overwhelmed.
