BMC Participates in Kadima’s Movie Night for a Screening of “Inside Out”

On Thursday August 25, 2016 Birmingham Maple Clinic participated in Kadima’s Movie Night at Beverly Park. Kadima, provider of comprehensive residential, therapeutic and social services to people with mental health needs, hosted a family-friendly evening featuring Disney Pixar’s 2015 film “Inside Out.”

“Inside Out” is the story of an adolescent girl trying to cope with her family’s move to a new city, while her five prominent emotions conflict inside her. The film offers an opportunity for parents to help their children understand and better express their emotions.

In addition to the movie, the night featured bounce houses, food trucks, snocones, popcorn, face painting, a DJ and a variety of organizations that support mental health such as NAMI, Jewish Family Services along with Birmingham Maple Clinic and others.
