BMC Therapist Regina Ruelle at the OCC Women Center: A Call To Wholeness

Regina’s workshop was titled “Combating Stress: For Yourself and Your Loved Ones.” She covered how to identify when stress is affecting you or your family members and may result in depression or an anxiety disorder. Daily wellness tips were discussed such as the importance of mindfulness practices, having a regular sleep routine, healthy eating, using language that promotes openness and connection with others, exploring activities that may assist with de-stressing and carving out time for yourself. Regina also gave attendees tips on how to identify when professional help may be needed.
